The Shamrock Irish Pub will continue to serve its patrons thru the end of May 2008! Mike VonPlinsky, the owner, says that “While the plans for the new building and business, the Beach Deli Company, continue aggressively with approvals already in hand, we have decided to delay the transition to the new development and operate the Pub thru the entire 2008 season. As we could not get the new building up in time to make any part of the season, it makes more fiscal sense to delay its construction until next Summer. The delay also allows us to have a more formal “going away” season for this long time beach tradition! And, yet another St. Patrick’s Day won’t be bad either (except for my dedicated Staff!)”. So, come out and let’s see all of the long term regulars we have, local and tourist alike, and send off the old girl in style this season!
